New Year’s blessings

Old year is gone away, new year is come today!

I’m publishing this about 30 hours before I’ll be using that chant. However you celebrate it, may you bring in the new calendar year with joy, and may 2013 be a year of blessings for you and yours.

I promised I’d write something more cheerful: I found some amazing photography a fertile source for thinking about the year in review over at Pagan Square.

I’m also following Hecate’s advice and picking a word for the new year and setting up a calendar to use as a magical tool. I think her suggestions are a lot more intentional than the standard resolutions and have the potential to be more healthy and more successful. See what you think and maybe try it out!
