At Hail Columbia: Pulpit Freedom Sunday encourages illegal Christian electioneering

Today is so-called Pulpit Freedom Sunday, when an extremely conservative Christian legal organization encourages pastors to break the law and preach a sermon for Mitt Romney. That’s what it boils down to. It’s a shameful attempt for them to get a test case without actually guaranteeing that they’ll provide legal representation for the poor fools they’re duping with false talk about religious freeberty, and it’s part of a growing trend to push Christian theocracy.

You can read my more restrained take on it at Hail Columbia.
