Just published! The Scribing Ibis: An Anthology of Pagan Fiction

Please join me in celebrating the publication of The Scribing Ibis: An Anthology of Pagan Fiction in Honor of Thoth, edited by Rebecca Buchanan. As Neos Alexandria describes it:

Here, modern Pagans and polytheists continue that ancient tradition, weaving stories of creation and loss, death and rebirth, humor and courage, transformation and destruction. From the banks of the Nile to the icy north, from modern-day Kansas to far future alien worlds, these tales sing of the grace and glory of the Gods, and Their place in our lives.

It also has some nonfiction essays, including my piece, “The Fool and the Green Man: Pagan Archetypes in the Fiction of Laurie R. King.” I discussed how King’s use of these archetypes highlights possible contributions that Paganism can make to contemporary society.

Please note that I get no money for this and do not have a financial interest in your purchase, but I encourage you to support Bibliotheca Alexandrina by buying through their site if you do want to get the book.
